Engr. Godswill Matthew is a passionate structural engineer with an inborn drive to design innovative solutions that address two of Africa’s greatest challenges: hunger and poverty. His work combines engineering expertise with a deep commitment to social impact, creating sustainable pathways for both housing and wealth creation.

He currently serves as Project Manager of the National Wealth Creation and Distribution Project and as Production Manager at Awesome God Agro Allied Industries Ltd (AGAAI), where he ensures that bold ideas are transformed into practical, working enterprises.

With a dream to provide affordable housing for low-income families, Engr. Godswill is pioneering the use of banana waste as raw material for construction innovations. His vision includes producing:

• Fiber cement boards
• Tiles
• Wallpaper
• Insulators
• Roofing panels

— all designed from banana by-products, proving that Africa’s natural abundance can solve Africa’s structural needs.

At the core of his philosophy is a strong belief: Africa can house itself using the resources already found in its soil. By merging structural engineering with agro-waste transformation, he is charting a new path for sustainable housing, industrial innovation, and poverty alleviation across the continent.
